Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is revered by devotees world-wide as the complete incarnation of divinity, the Purna Avatar of this age. His simple teachings focus on adopting a universal outlook and practical spirituality: love and service as the principle pathway to realizing the divine within and around us. His significance to each devotee is immeasurable, whether as a holy teacher, divine parent, or beloved friend, and his play in order to evolve them unfathomable. November 23^rd, 1926, marks the day of his descent and is celebrated each year to honour this significance; it is a reminder to strive to fulfill the purpose of his descent by practicing his teachings.
